Large scale custom art from Photowall

Today I’m sharing our new beautiful and custom large scale art from Photowall. If you’ve never heard of Photowall before, they’re a company that carries a range of products from wallpapers to canvas prints and posters. Their custom and designer wallpapers are absolutely stunning. When they originally reached out to us, I wanted to use their wallpaper in our daughter’s room. However, after walking around our home, I decided that we needed a large scale artwork for our dining room. The wall next to our fireplace and in front of our dining room table needed a little something.
One thing I loved about working with Photowall was how easy it was to create your own custom artwork. Since you’re able to upload your own artwork, I was able to use one of the photographs I took on our hike for this space. I love that it adds a personal touch, and brings back all of the memories we created as a family on this hike. It’s a daily reminder of how much fun we had, and all the breathtaking scenes we saw.
You’ll notice that the two wood moldings holding up this photograph match our dining room table almost perfectly. The color of the moldings is called smoked ash. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of not only the wood moldings, but the hardware to hang the piece of art as well. The directions that come with your order are very clear and easy to follow. I will say, it felt like a two person job getting the photograph paper into the moldings. Luckily Scot was there to help me. You could totally tackle this step on your own, it just might take a little bit more time and patience!
The artwork I picked for this space measures 59.06x39.37 inches. Shipping was incredibly fast, especially considering they’re based over seas. I chose borderless for this large scale artwork.
Here are a few more photos of it in our dining room space. We plan to make a few more changes with this wall, including the baseboards, but for now I am absolutely obsessed with how well it works in this room.
